Several farm units are up for renewal of agricultural leases. In an effort to answer questions, hear concerns, and improve the consent request response rate, the Tribe is offering several opportunities for landowners to meet with Brian Golding, Sr., EDA Director, and Frank Venegas, Water Technician, to discuss agricultural leasing and water use on the Reservation.
The meetings will be held at the Paradise Event Center, according to the following schedule:

- 5:00 pm for Farm Unit 123 – JV Farms
- 5:30 pm for Farm Unit 154 – JV Farms
- Tuesday, 03/01/2022
- 4:30 pm for Farm Unit 171 – JV Farms
- 5:00 pm for Farm Unit 111 – T&P Farms
- 5:30 pm for Farm Unit 161 – JV Farms
- Thursday, 03/03/2022
- 4:30 pm for Farm Unit 170 – JV Farms

Landowners can find their farm unit numbers by checking the notices they received from the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the agricultural lessees regarding lease renewals. If a landowner needs help finding their farm unit number or cannot make it to the meeting regarding his or her farm unit, please contact Mr. Golding at (760) 572-5270 or b.golding@quechantribe.com for assistance. If time runs out for any of the meetings, Mr. Golding and Mr. Venegas will arrange with landowners another date and time to continue the meeting. COVID-19 protocols including mask wearing and social distancing will be in effect.
