Well, it is that time of the year again! The Quechan Tribal Council couldn’t be more proud of all our graduates that earned academic achievements and promoting/graduating during the 2022/2023 academic year. With so many of our graduates residing all over the nation, we, unfortunately, were not able to reach out to all our graduates of the Tribe for their achievements this past year.

In an effort to encourage and show support, we have collaborated with the Quechan Higher Education Program and the Johnson O’Malley Program (JOM) to offer an opportunity to all our graduates and families on and off the reservation to honor those that have worked very hard to achieve academic success.

Our plan is to honor these graduates during a ceremony on June 30, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Quechan Community Center. To make this a success, we would need the help of the parents and families of these students to provide information so we can congratulate and recognize the graduates for all of their achievements.

There are (2) ways that you can obtain a Recognition From:

(1) Visit www.quechantribe.com and click on the Departments and select the Higher Education Program or JOM Program where there will be a Fillable Acknowledgement Form, to complete and submit to the appropriate department. Higher Education will receive the promotions/graduate forms for 8th, 12th and college graduates. JOM will receive the academic achievements for Headstart - 12th grade.

(2) Call (760) 572-5268 (Higher Education Program) or (760) 572-0648 (JOM) to request a form to be mailed, faxed, or emailed.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: JUNE 16, 2023
