Sarah Laurenzana Crowned Miss Quechan 2023/2024
On Thursday, October 12, 2023, Miss Sarah Laurenzana was crowned Miss Quechan 2023/2024. Miss Laurenzana ran against Miss Mary Jane Barley, who was the previous Miss Quechan.
"It would be a huge honor to represent the tribe. I would use this opportunity to give back to my community & be more involved! I plan to promote bringing awareness in alcohol & substance abuse and how it affects mental health. I hope to finish getting my degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a degree majoring in Psychology. I wish to use my knowledge and experiences to teach the youth and community about positive coping mechanisms. and tradition."
