Notice From Tribal Council To The Tribal Membership and Community

As you know we are experiencing power outages on the reservation and have power poles down. The affected areas are currently being worked on by the Imperial Irrigation District staff (IID) to repair damage and restoration of power. If you are in the affected area, please stay home until we can get assistance to safely escort you out of your home, if you have transportation do not drive over fallen electrical lines. If you do not live in the affected areas, please stay out those areas while the IID staff is working on the damages, so that roadways can remain clear.

If you can see the downed power poles or lines, it can be extremely dangerous. Please stay away from fallen or dangling power lines, do not touch the downed power lines.

If you have downed power lines in your area please report them to IID at 800-303-7756.

To report fallen trees and road hazards, please call Eric Tucker – Facilities Manager at 928-919-2803

The Cooling Center located at the Paradise Casino Event Center, is available 24 hours daily for temporary sheltering until further notice.

Please call Councilman Jon Koteen at 928-919-3594 to arrange for transportation to and from the Cooling Center.

If you are without Power and need be placed in a Hotel (at no cost), or if you have already arranged a room for yourself or your family, please call Executive Secretary Sophia Perez at 928-919-6791 for hotel accommodations and reimbursements.

If you are without power and choose to remain in your home and need water, ice, food or any other assistance, please call Councilwoman Ina Hall at 928-919-4790

For COVID-19 considerations please call the Office of Emergency Management at 928-587-5524.
