Very hot temperatures persisting through the rest of the week with local areas of Major HeatRisk mainly in the Phoenix Metro through Friday.
Hotter temperatures likely for next week with a return of widespread Major HeatRisk expected by around Monday. High terrain thunderstorms possible by early next week.
