Brush Burning Notice For 4/29/2024

Yuma Desert Contractors will be performing approved control burns in the Ranch 5 area to prepare the land for new construction of a subdivision. Burning will attempt to begin on Monday, April 29th with approval from Air Quality Control. Burning is planned to continue throughout the month of May until area is cleared.

Designated locations will be closed off for safety measures. Roads will be closed at the Sapphire Lane extension, intersection of Baseline Road and San Pasqual Drive, and the intersection of Sapphire Lane and Baseline Road during burning activity. The corresponding departments will be notified of approved burning activity:
