Lingering shower and isolated thunderstorms will taper off across the Phoenix metro this morning, and remain mostly confined to higher terrain areas of south-central Arizona. Heavy rainfall may continue with some minor nuisance flooding possible through the morning hours.
Isolated thunderstorm chances remain for higher terrain areas tomorrow. A drier weather system may result in some isolated showers on Wednesday.
Slightly below normal temperatures are expected through Wednesday. Warmer later this week with increasing potential (20-40%) for highs reaching 110° across the lower deserts late this upcoming weekend.
