The Fort Yuma Tribal Youth Council (FYTYC) is currently seeking applicants and advisors for the 2019-2020 term.

The purpose of the FYTYC is to promote mental and physical well-being of tribal youth from the ages of 14-22 years old in Yuma and Imperial County. The FYTYC will also play an advisory role to build leadership qualities in youths and prepare them for their futures. The FYTYC will play a vital role in ensuring that the youths have a voice to those making decisions and policies that affect them. Youth Councilors are expected to be leaders in their homes, schools, and communities and will take part in community meetings and service projects. Youth Councilors will also attend Quechan Tribal Council Meetings.
