Native Resilience Traditional Wear Day: Monday, November 26, 2018.
Wear any traditional regalia for the day to support the resilience of Native American Women and Men.
To participate, simply take a selfie in your traditional wear or item and post it your Facebook page with the hash tag #QuechanResilience or #NativeAmericanResilience. Or, you can give Brandy Cordova, a call at Quechan Social services (760) 572-0201 Ext: 208 for a picture to be taken.
All participants will receive a raffle ticket for the last celebration day raffles.
Winner must be present to win.

Native Resilience Fashion Show and Frybread Contest: Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
Time and Location: 5: 30pm 7:30pm, Turquoise Community Building, 1810 Turquoise Circle,

A small fashion show showcasing traditional regalia to support the continuance of traditions through generations. All participants must fill out an introductory card for the host. The frybread contest will take place outdoors of the building. All Participants must bring their own supplies, lights, stove, tents, etc. Each participant must make at least 20 mini frybreads.
The Judging panel will announce winners at 6:00 pm.
There will be three winners: 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place.

sign up will be on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 @ 5:00pm.

"A Celebration of Resilience" Event: Wednesday, November 28, 2018.
Time and Location: 5:30pm - 8:30pm, Turquoise Community Building, 1810 Turquoise Circle.

Stew and Frybread Dinner donated by the Quechan Senior Center. There will be speakers,
raffles, and traditional singing and dancing.
