(I-8) on the Colorado River Bridge near Yuma, AZ, on Wednesday, June 14th t from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for replacement of seismic bearings, according to Caltrans. Additionally, the 4th Avenue on-ramp to westbound I-8 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Additionally, the 4th Avenue on-ramp to westbound I-8 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Paving operations are scheduled for Route 186 beginning on Monday, June 5, 2023 through Thursday, June 8, 2023.
The Road Warriors Society is looking for Spirit Runners for the Run With The Sun headed to Friendship Park in San Diego, California.
The schedule for the run can be read below and they are currently on Day 26.
Attention tribal vendors, booth reservation application for the Quechan 4th of July Celebration (July 1st and 2nd, 2023) is now available.
EDA will be accepting Booth Reservation Applications on June 6, 2023 beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The Booth Reservation Application will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Quechan Tribal Council went on a site visit Monday, May 22, 2023, to meet with representatives of JV Farms for a drone demonstration and to learn their drone’s operation and procedures.

Additionally, the 4th Avenue on-ramp to westbound I-8 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The Quechan Parks and Recreation department presents the Rainbow Pool Opening on Saturday, May 27 through May 29, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Food, Raffles, and Music. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

A Tribal Distribution of 5.2 Million has been approved by the Quechan Tribal Council. The amount for adults will be $1,394.57(80%) and $1,094.74 (20%) for the Minors. This amount will be placed in the minor trust account with Providence First Trust.
On Friday, May 12, 2023, the Honorable Judge Juan Ulloa was sworn in at the pro-tem judge for the Quechan Indian Tribal Court.
The ceremony was held in the Quechan Tribal Council's Chambers with the Tribal President, Vice-President, and Council Members in attendance.
There is a water break at 1st Street near McCoy Trailer Park. Water will be shut off approximately four hours.

As of Wednesday May 10th• the Quechan Tribal Council has had constant contact with our Law enforcement allies and are currently tracking this situation as it develops. The Quechan Tribal Council is taking a proactive approach to this situation and has begun to meet with tribal departments that may be directly affected by the ending of title 42.
El Centro, Calif. — All lanes of eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) between Winterhaven/4th Avenue in Imperial, California and 16th Street in Yuma, Arizona will close Sunday, May 14 through Thursday, May 19 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the Colorado River Bridge Project. Motorists will detour by exiting towards Winterhaven/4th Avenue, turn right on to 4th Avenue and continue southbound towards 16th Street. Turn left onto U.S. 95/ 16th Street and continue heading eastbound towards the I-8 on-ramp.
A weather system moving across the Desert Southwest Tuesday through Wednesday will deliver gusty winds across the region. The strongest will be across southeast CA on Tuesday and across the higher terrain of south-central AZ on Wednesday. Wind gusts across the areas expected to see the strongest speeds are forecast to exceed 35-40 mph.

Saturdays 10 and under will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, 11 and over will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
