2017 Social Services/ICWA Christmas Drive

The Quechan Department of Social Services, Indian Child Welfare Program is in need of gifts and Christmas trees for our foster children.

In 2016, 82 children were assisted with gifts and 8 Christmas trees thanks to all of you who helped . This holiday 34 children ranging from 0-17 are in need of some help and 8 families in need of a Christmas tree.

When a child is matched with a sponsor, sponsors are asked to provide a gift for the child. After receiving the gifts from the sponsors, we here at the ICWA office ensure that every gift
and tree is delivered before Christmas Day.

To pick a child/family come on in to the Quechan Social Services office and pick an ornament off of the tree and bring a present or Christmas tree.

Ornaments can be picked out starting Monday, November 27, 2017.
All presents need to be dropped off at the Quechan Social Services office by Friday, December 15, 2017.
